Significance of Sins

Verses I read today

Jeremiah7:22-23 When I led your ancestors out of Egypt, it was not burnt offering and sacrifices I wanted from them. This is what I told them: 'Obey me, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. Do everything as I say, and all will be well!'

约翰一书 5:3 我们遵守 神的诫命,这就是爱他了,并且他的诫命不是难守的。
1John5:3 Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome.

约翰一书 5:4 因为凡从 神生的,就胜过世界;使我们胜了世界的,就是我们的信心。
1John5:4 For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.

约翰一书5:18 我们知道凡从 神生的,必不犯罪,从 神生的,必保守自己(注:有古卷作"那从 神生的必保护他"),那恶者也就无法害他。
1John5:18 We know that God's children do not make a practice of sinning, for God's Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot touch them.

Question I have today:
1John5:16-17 If you see a Christian brother or sister sinning in a way that does not lead to death, you should pray, and God will give that person life. But there is a sin that leads to death, and I am not saying you should pray for those who commit it. All wicked actions are sin, but not every sin leads to death.

Sounds terrible?!  Don't pray for these who commit sin which leas to death?
1. What are all these sins that can lead one to death?
2. What is the order of the sins that the significance of the consequences decrease?
3. Why cannot God's power win them over?
4. Is it true that God set aside these people purposefully? So, they are sinned because God chose them to sin, they have the excuse.

If someone's sin has led to their death, there is no longer reason to pray for them. "For it is appointed unto man once to die, and after that the judgment." (Hebrews 9:27) After a person has died, he is outside the purview of prayer, so John instructs us not to waste our time praying for such a person to repent. Of course, Catholics have a different understanding, but I don't adhere to it.

As for an "unpardonable sin", Mark 3:28-30 identifies one as "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit." In context that was ascribing to Satan a work of the Holy Spirit.

What about that criminal that was crucified beside Jesus? He blasphemed Jesus and Jesus said he forgave him. Is that also unpardonable sin?

I interpret "blaspheming against the Holy Spirit" as denying the truth that your conscience tells you or twisting the truth that your conscience tells you into lies. It is through our conscience that the Holy Spirit speaks. So to deny or twist the truth of your conscience(or spirit) is to "blaspheme" or curse or turn to evil that which is good and true and pure(or holy).

Anyone who no longer listens to the truth of their conscience has made it impossible for them to seek forgiveness. Without seeking forgiveness, they will never experience pardon.
