Verses I read today:

耶利米书8:4-6 你要对他们说，耶和华如此说：'人跌倒，不再起来吗？人转去，不再转来吗？这耶路撒冷的民为何恒久背道呢？他们守定诡诈，不肯回头。我留心听，听见他们说不正直的话，无人悔改恶行说：我做的是甚么呢？他们各人转奔己路，如马直闯战场。

Jeremiah 8:4-6 "Jeremiah, say to the people, 'This is what the LORD says: " 'When people fall down, don't they get up again? When they discover they're on the wrong road, don't they turn back? Then why do these people stay on their self-destructive path? Why do the people of Jerusalem refuse to turn back? They cling tightly to their lies and will not turn around. I listen to their conversations and don't hear a word of truth. Is anyone sorry for doing wrong? Does anyone say, "What a terrible thing I have done"? No! All are running down the path of sin as swiftly as a horse galloping into battle!

彼得后书1:2 愿恩惠、平安因你们认识　神和我们主耶稣，多多地加给你们！

2 Peter1:2 May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord.

彼得后书1:5-9 正因这缘故，你们要分外地殷勤。有了信心，又要加上德行；有了德行，又要加上知识；有了知识，又要加上节制；有了节制，又要加上忍耐；有了忍耐，又要加上虔敬；有了虔敬，又要加上爱弟兄的心；有了爱弟兄的心，又要加上爱众人的心。你们若充充足足地有这几样，就必使你们在认识我们的主耶稣基督上，不至于闲懒不结果子了。人若没有这几样，就是眼瞎，只看见近处的，忘了他旧日的罪已经得了洁净。

2 Peter 1:5-9 In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God's promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone. The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But those who fail to develop in this way are shortsighted or blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their old sins.
